Gilcrest/Jewett's Waukee location serves as our home office and features a complete inventory, extensive showroom and a full line of carpet and cabinets. Customization operations are also based in Waukee, as are a team of expert sales reps and our administrative offices. Waukee offers a large fleet of delivery vehicles and serves the greater Des Moines metro area and Central Iowa. Gilcrest/Jewett's home office had been located in downtown Des Moines since 1856. Over the last decade, we've responded to the market by increasing our product lines, as well as adding a carpet division, cabinet division, and window and door division. As a result of this tremendous growth we outgrew our downtown facility. By moving to Waukee, we increased total space from 7 acres to 26 acres and expanded our showroom to 12,500 square feet and storage space to 160,000 square feet. |
