This week we’re highlighting Jon Meinders from Gilcrest Jewett Lumber Altoona.
Jon has been part of the team since 2014. He started as an installer working with insulation systems, garage doors, and fireplaces, and today his days are filled with loading materials and responding to customer service requests.
What Jon enjoys most about his job is being outside and working at different job locations. And when it comes to the GJ Team, he says what stands out most is that everyone shares the same goals and works together as a team.
One accomplishment that means a lot to Jon?
When a customer calls the store to rave about their experience with his work—that never gets old!
Favorite product to work with: Closet shelving. Customers love the efficiency and value these projects bring to their homes.
Favorite hobby: Motorcycle trips
Favorite place traveled: A two-week trip through Australia and a sightseeing adventure through the mountains
Favorite season: Spring
Bucket list: A motorcycle road trip across the nation, stopping at several points of interest along the way
