This quarter we’re excited to feature Tara Filosa from Gilcrest Jewett Lumber Company!
Tara has been with GJ for 8 years and plays a key role as a Kitchen Cabinet Designer & Countertop Sales Specialist. Her typical day starts early—arrivingbefore the store opens to catch up on emails and plan for the day ahead. From there, she’s juggling multiple projects, designing layouts through cabinet CAD, creating proposals, meeting with customers and contractors, checking order statuses, keeping customers informed, scheduling deliveries, and even visiting job sites.
What Tara enjoys most about her job is bringing concepts to life. She loves seeing a vision turn into reality—and along the way, many customers and contractors have become great friends.
When it comes to the GJ Team, Tara says what stands out most is that everyone is always willing to help one another—true teamwork in action.
