Kent Lindemann joined Gilcrest/Jewett in 2021 and serves in outside sales. His experience runs deep—before joining the team, he spent 32 years framing houses after taking a home construction class in high school. That early, hands-on foundation shaped the understanding of homebuilding he brings to his customers today.

“My days are filled with quoting plans, calling on customers, ordering materials, and setting up job tickets,” Kent explains. His on-site experience helps him anticipate what builders need and ensure each order supports the project efficiently.

When asked what product customers should know more about, Kent points to windows—an essential component that plays a huge role in quality, comfort, and performance. His years of fieldwork give him a unique perspective on how the right product choices make a lasting difference.

Kent describes himself as honest, approachable, and kind, and says the best skill he brings to his job is understanding the on-site process of building a home. That practical insight makes him a trusted partner for both customers and coworkers.

He’s proud of selling—and surviving—a disorganized hotel project, a challenge that tested his patience, adaptability, and problem-solving skills. His guiding philosophy is simple: “Be honest, and do it right all of the time.”

Outside of work, Kent enjoys working on projects at his acreage, watching Hawkeye football, and playing cards—a relaxing change of pace after busy weeks in the field.

Gilcrest/Jewett is proud to spotlight Kent Lindemann for his honesty, craftsmanship, and commitment to doing things right.
